Recently the Merrimack Valley Sandbox had its first Celebration and Fundraiser event last Monday June 9th. The celebration was held at the UMASS Lowell Inn & Conference Center.
During the event more than 35 entrepreneurs showcased their ventures to audience members over a 280 attendees. The keynote speaker was Bill O’Donnell, co-founder and former Chief Architect of Kayak. The Sandbox is boosting the economic and social well-being of greater Lowell and Lawrence by advancing entrepreneurship and innovation. The Sandbox Entrepreneur Program gives entrepreneurs a greater chance at success through workshops, pitch contests, and accelerator programs.
