The ALPFA Annual Holiday Reception was just not another great social and networking event, but it also included a special book drive to benefit the Phoenix Charter Academy Network, a group of three high-performing high schools in Massachusetts that cater to students underserved by traditional public schools.
The event was held at Naga Lounge in Cambridge and was supported by El Mundo Boston, La Mega radio stations, Univision Boston and the Hispanic American Chamber Institute.
DJ Mike Mercado provided the music and promoter JR Vega served as host.
“This was to just socialize and let our hair down for a night as we host so many professional events during the year, but tonight we were also able to help a great educational cause as well”, expressed Boston ALPFA Chapter President Migdalia Diaz.
