La vida está llena de ironías. En la sociedad de hoy donde parece que cada persona no solamente tiene una opinión, sino también un foro para pronunciarla, esto es todo lo más aparente. Es más irónico que aquellos que muchas veces tienen lo máximo por lo cual deben estar agradecidos, sean con frecuencia los más descontentos.
Tome el ejemplo de aquellas personas que disfrutan cada oportunidad para hablar en contra de este país. A ellos les encanta culpar a esta gran nación por cada mal conocido en la tierra, y hacen doble presión para hacerle publicidad. Aún, están tan enceguecidos por sus nubladas convicciones y retórica sin sentido, que no se dan cuenta de que están usando su libertad de expresión, la cual es protegida por la Constitución del país que ellos están menospreciando. Ellos mismos son ejemplos vivos de la grandeza de los Estados Unidos de América.
Libertad es lo que este país simboliza. Libertad para hablar, para tener una propiedad, para participar en acuerdos dentro de negocios privados, y más aún, ¡libertad para llevar el gobierno a una corte!. Las demandas contra entidades locales, estatales y federales son hoy muy comunes, y exitosas.
!Qué país! Y todavía usted encuentra aquellas personas que no valoran a este país por los principios que guarda y por los méritos que ha ganado.
No aspiramos tener una nación perfecta, pero cuando los fanáticos y eternos inconformes se reúnen para culpar al bueno, viejo ,Estados Unidos de América, por todo lo que ellos puedan pensar, eso solamente nos hace al resto de nosotros apreciar este país hasta el máximo.
Appreciating the freedoms in this country…
Life is full of ironies. In today’s society where it seems that everybody not only has an opinion, but a forum from which to voice it, this is all the more apparent. For it is rather ironic that those who many times have the most to be grateful for, are often times the most discontent.
Take the example of those individuals who relish on every opportunity they have to bash this country. They love to blame this great nation for every ill the earth has known, and they take double pleasure in doing it publicly. Yet, they are so blinded by their clouded convictions and senseless rhetoric, that they fail to realize that by using their freedom of expression, which is protected by the Constitution of the very country they are trashing, they themselves are vivid examples of the greatness of the United States.
Freedom is what this country is all about. Freedom to speak, to own property, to enter into private business agreements, and there is even freedom to take this government to court! Lawsuits against local, state and federal entities is highly common today, and successful.
What a country! Still, you find those who do not give this country and the principals from which it stands on, the merits it has earned.
We do not profess to have a perfect nation, but when fanatical and eternal malcontents get around to blaming the good, old USA, for everything they can think of, it only makes the rest of us appreciate this country all the more.
