Boston Ballet brings dance show to Dorchester Theatre

Boston – Boston Ballet is inviting the public to explore dance and “rethink ballet” during a performance Friday at 7 p.m. at the Strand Theatre, 543 Columbia Road.

The show will include many facets of the company from Boston Ballet and Boston Ballet II professional dancers and students from Boston Ballet School.

They will be joined by participants of the Adaptive Dance, a program of the ballet company and the Department of Education and Community Initiatives or ECI for people with disabilities and Boys in Motion, fourth to eighth graders who participate in the Boston Ballet ECI program.

  • When: Friday at 7 p.m. with a pre-show community event at 5:30 p.m.
