Latino Initiative Raises More than $600,000 to improve the health and well-being of children in New England and around the world.
For one amazing night each fall, Boston’s top Latino business leaders rally around a unique fundraising gala to support the programs of Milagros para Niños.
Milagros para Niños is a Latino initiative at Boston Children’s Hospital, launched in 2009 with a mission to improve the health and well-being of children in New England and around the world.
Led by the “Latino Advisory Committee” at Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, this initiative raises funds, builds awareness of the hospital in the Latino community, and advocates for the care of children from local communities and all Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries.
Through the donation of raffle items, sponsorships, ticket sales, and commitment of time and talents, top companies directly support the Milagros para Niños mission.
On Friday, September 12th, over $600,000 was raised at this year’s Gala, held at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. With more than 600 in attendance, the event was a complete success.
In 2010, Boston Children’s Hospital established the “Milagros para Niños Award” to honor an outstanding member of the community who has contributed greatly to Boston Children’s mission. With their help, Boston Children’s continues to stay at the forefront of innovation, research and medical care for children around the world.
