
Vietnam veteran and well-known community leader Antonio “Tony” Molina was honored as part of the Boston Red Sox’s “Hats Off to Heroes” program at Fenway Park on Hispanic Heritage Day at Fenway Park on September 17th.
The day was sponsored by Goya Foods, as Molina was introduced to the sold out crowd of over 35,000 during the 4th inning of the game. After climbing atop the Red Sox dugout, he was cheered by thousands of fans as the announcer read the highlights of his impressive career.
Local Lowell singer Marcela Cruz performed the National Anthem during pre-game ceremonies.
